I was active my first year in Alpha Phi (my sophomore year of college), and then I went associate since I was taking courses at another school.
I am a Petroleum Geologist for Mull Drilling Company, Inc.
I am in my first semester of graduate school at WSU in the EEPS (Earth, Environmental, and Physical Sciences) Program. I have a graduate teaching assistantship, so my tuition is waived. I am taking the thesis route, and I look forward to graduating in December of 2016.
Alpha Phi Story:
I attended the song fest in the Fall of 2010 with a group of sisters. When someone on stage was tossing candy, I ran down to the front to catch some for all of us. I tossed my head back laughing as candy rained down on me...and then a sucker thwopped right smack on my mouth! I ran back to my sisters to hand off the treasured candy, and when I smiled to ask if something was wrong with my teeth...they all let out a blood curdling scream! Then I screamed! We all zipped up to the bathroom, and my front tooth was broken in half! All because of a tootsie pop! My family cracked jokes about how I had the perfect hillbilly costume...needless to say the very next day I visited my dentist. Now I have a fake tooth and a really funny memory :)
